Childrens Safety Rules-
1) NEVER play with matches or lighters.
2) Have a family fire escape plan at your home with a predetermined meeting place outside. Your parents can help with this.
3)Learn how to call for help, dial 911. Even small children can do this.

5)NEVER stick anything in electrical outlets. These have lots of electricity in them that will not only hurt you, but also catch your house on fire.
6)In a fire, crawl low under smoke. Smoke and heat rise, so during a fire, there’s cleaner, cooler air near the floor. Always try another exit if you encounter smoke when escaping a fire. But if you have to escape through smoke, crawl on your hands and knees with your head one to two feet above the floor.
Even firefighters crawl low, when they are in a smoke filled room searching for someone.
