How do I find out if there is a burn-ban in effect ?
To burn you must call Benton County Central Dispatch at 1-866-207-5140. They will advise you on what you can burn, if there is a burn ban on, and notify your local Fire Department so that no false alarms are issued. Burning household trash is illegal.

Who do I call in the event of an actual emergency?
Call 911 and advise the Dispatcher of your name, and the nature and location of the emergency, as calmly as possible. Stay on the phone if possible.

For home protection we recommend a multi-purpose extinguisher . It will be labeled A-B-C. Check the yellow pages under fire extinguishers for sales and service.
